A digital camera that gives you the Super 8 look without film cartridges, developing, or hours of editing sounds like a pretty fun way to film cherished moments 🎥

Aura6 is a digital video camera inspired by the look and feel of Super 8, made to make filming feel simple, spontaneous and fun again. Each clip is up to 6 seconds long, and the camera keeps them in order, turning your footage into a finished 3 minute roll with no editing needed. There are no menus to dig through and no endless settings to tweak, so you just pick it up, press record and capture the moment. A dedicated New Roll button lets you wrap one memory and start fresh on the next. The nostalgic film look aims for grain, colour, softness and imperfections, but everything is fully digital with no film cartridges or developing. With an optional external microphone, you can add sound when you want it. Back Aura6 on Kickstarter now.
