Fluffy Japanese Futon With Firm Back Support

The Futon Mattress is designed for people who love the soft embrace of a traditional Japanese futon but still need steady support for their body. Inspired by the shikibuton you find in a Japanese ryokan, it uses a two layer structure: a fluffy Mirai Down top and a pressure point foam base. Mirai Down is a cruelty free polyester fill shaped into tiny balls so it stays airy, does not clump, and avoids animal odor. Underneath, a three zone urethane foam layer gently supports your neck, lower back, and legs while distributing pressure more evenly. You can use it on a bed frame, directly on the floor, or on tatami, then fold and store it away to free up space. The removable cover is machine washable, so daily care is simple.
