  • A Folk Horror 5e Supplement Where Dark Folklore and Grim Survival Converge

A 300+ page Folk Horror tome for 5th Edition, where sinister rituals and terrifying folklore summon dark horror and mythical creatures.

Wicked Echoes: Whispers of the Samodiva is a grimdark, 5E-compatible folk horror campaign set in the eerie realm of Grimmholdt. Spanning 300+ pages, this grimoire immerses players in shadowy folklore, deadly mysteries, and chilling horror. Players will navigate a landscape steeped in fear and obscured by mist, unraveling dark fairytales and sinister secrets that haunt the villagers. Ancient horrors lurk in the shadowed forests, while mysterious fey spirits dance under moonlight, and unsettling, powerful forces foretell of doom. The campaign introduces Corrupting Darkness Mechanics, a tactical element where players must manage resources as they battle the encroaching corruption that can alter abilities, appearance, and even fate. Adventurers can choose from haunting new subclasses like the Veil Warden Paladin, Fortune Teller Sorcerer, or Circle of Sanctuary Druid, each intertwined with folkloric elements. The campaign also includes 50+ twisted creatures, from cannibalistic Wendigos to mystical Samodiva forest spirits, along with eerie artifacts and unique dark folklore-inspired treasures. Fifteen macabre familiars, including necrotic Wicker Hearts and Shadowspinners, accompany players through the mists, while the Gypsy Oracle Card Deck and Spirit Ouija Board add layers of divination and spirit interaction. With custom miniatures for Grimmholdt’s supernatural bosses, Whispers of the Samodiva delivers an unforgettable, haunting tabletop experience.
