Yes! The international standard for carry on bags is 9". When NOT fully expanded, the 35L is 8.5" deep and the 45L is 9" deep. If you're worried, we simply suggest not using the expanding feature while using it as a carry on.

All our products are definitely weather resistant, but not 100% waterproof. We recommend picking up a rainfly for any wet adventures!
