The Pop Culture Strategy & Trivia Game That Never Ages

Most pop culture trivia games are outdated before they even hit the shelves. Initial Thoughts is different. This unique game blends the best parts of Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit, using broad questions that remain relevant over the years, through generations, and across countries. Each card asks you to name a fictional character, actor, movie, book, etc. Use the initial cards in front of you to name them. Each initial has its own point, so the more unique and longer your answer, the better. No niche question, just years of fun for everyone with Initial Thoughts! ABOUT Ben Famiglietti and Mike Mendizabal met in the machine room of a post-production facility a little over a decade ago. Together, in a freezing room for 10 hours a day, they needed to talk about something other than tapes. So they talked about video games, board games and the late 1980s. Their friendship eventually left the machine room - and thankfully, so did their careers. But they remained in the post-production industry as Ben became a producer and Mike, a visual effects compositor/ video editor. Their first self-published board game, Super Hazard Quest, was successfully funded on Kickstarter and is now on its 4th print edition. FAQ What does it mean to back a project (pledge)? When you back a project, you’re pre-ordering the product. That means you'll get it once it's produced. Besides getting the product itself, you're also joining a community. Follow along the production process, take part in important surveys and give the creator valuable feedback. What is Kickstarter? Kickstarter is a launchpad for creators to raise funds for the initial production of their invention. Backers (that's you!) can support the creator by pre-ordering the product at a discounted price. How do I pledge? In order to pledge, click that green button that says “Back this project”. You'll get to select your shipping country and choose your desired pledge level and reward. CL Message Name famous people, books, and movies. The more unique their initials, the more points you'll get.
