FAQ Does Theta work with third-party quick-release plates and L-brackets? Theta is compatible with all Arca Swiss plates and L-brackets, by simply removing the removable pins from Theta's ball head. Can I use my own ball head? Yes, you can replace the standard ball head with your own ball head. The base mount thread is 3/8". You can also perform the auto-leveling feature by mounting the battery, camera control, and optical sensor modules together to use this function.
