tailsofmischief2
Japanese-Inspired Art Playing Cards
Step back into the scurrying forest floor with Tails of Mischief 2 - Art Playing Cards, a Japanese-inspired series of hand-drawn decks where every card is part of a larger journey. Each limited edition deck forms a seamless artwork as you lay the cards out, following field mice as they cross lush fields, ponds and village paths in search of their scattered insect companions. Hidden holographic foiling creates pips that shimmer in the light then fade into the undergrowth, while full-bleed illustrations, foiled tuck boxes and coloured gilded edges turn the decks into art pieces. Combine all four versions to create a complete tapestry that also becomes a tabletop sugoroku-style race game. Back Tails of Mischief 2 - Art Playing Cards on Kickstarter now.
About
I'm a Nonsense writer and illustrator from the U.K., living in Japan.
