Mike Mojica, our founder, left his “day job” as an engineer in aerospace Over 6 years ago to pursue his passion for outdoor entrepreneurship. He now spends most of his time inventing & engineering multi-purpose, solution-based EDC for everyone from seasoned survivalists to nature newbies to get out and explore with confidence. Mike partnered with Joe Brown, a 25+ year consumer product operations executive, in 2015 to help bring Mike's myriad of product ideas to life. Maylynn Steiner joined the team in 2021, helping to free up Mike's time to continue creating. With the Native American name of Bodaway, meaning Fire Maker, it's no wonder we see a fire theme in so much of the adventure and survival gear by Mike.
