Besides this specific product (miops cable-c1 connecting cable for canon) do i need anything else to make it work properly? i'm currently using godox
The "MIOPS Cable-C1 Connecting Cable" includes the MIOPS body, a Flash Connection Cable (PC SYNC), USB Charge Cable, and one rechargeable battery.
You'll only need to buy an additional cable if you have a secondary camera with a different trigger port. If your flash does not have a PC Sync port, then you'll need to buy a hotshoe adapter.
Does this device do focus stacking?
No, it is simply a shutter trigger. It does not control or assist in focusing. For most modes to work well when using the MIOPS you will need to put your camera into manual focus mode and "pre-focus" where the subject will be expected to avoid the delay caused by the focus feature in the camera.
