Mom and Dad got married in Hawaii in 2014. JoJo was born in Hawaii in 2015, and Rocky followed in 2017. Dad was a boat captain, and the babies were always in the Hawaii sun. We needed something natural to protect the whole family while surfing, so we started making sunblock in our kitchen with just five ingredients. All our friends loved it, so we began selling it. Since we all surf together every day, it was a perfect mix of business and pleasure. JoJo Cinco started competing in surfing at age five and dreams of becoming a pro surfer, so we named the brand Cinco to support him. Cinco launched with sunblock, but we knew other products were essential. We discovered wheat straw refills and realized how important it is to reduce waste. When Mom got rashes from other deodorants, we started making natural deodorant too. Were passionate about helping protect the ocean as surfers ourselves. We believe in refills because they mean less waste and save money. Our goal is to help families go natural with Cinco - embracing self-care in a simple, sustainable way.
