We are Marunya Bussan Co., Ltd, an apparel maker that was founded 24 years ago. We plan, develop, and sell Japanese goods. Through domestic crowdfunding platforms, we have started seven projects, with over 50,000,000yen in funding, successfully bringing rewards to all backers. At the centre of our work is a fashion designer who has 25 years of design experience, who has remained involved in Japan's premium denim market throughout. With a wish to create denim that can be worn comfortably even in summer, which has been in their mind for over five years, we have continually collaborated, and as such, we have created the Air Jeans 1.0 Thank you for checking out our project! We look to solve the small inconveniences that we all face. We are launching the Stay Cool Project, which was born from the thought, “How long do we need to wear those hot and stuffy jeans during the middle of summer?” If this project succeeds, we will continue working to solve the frustrations that remain. There are still many factories in Japan with wonderful techniques the world does not yet know about. Bringing those techniques to the world is our mission.
