Subversion is a game about people and communities seeking out a better existence in this rapidly changing world. The drama centers around the actions of envoys, representatives of your community, each from one of seven fantastic species with their own unique combination of abilities, determined to protect and advance their communities while remaining true to their own ideals. Subversion is about community, direct action, revolution, and hope for the future, even against a world rife with runaway technology, unchecked power, and dangerous secrets.

The Unicorns are made up of inclusive gamers and energetic creative types who want to tell great stories, create fun games, and foster the good stuff in life. Peace, harmony, RPGs, etc. In particular, no one is paid. At least not yet. The company is an LLC, with the lone official employee – Opti. Opti’s done freelance writing and game development for years, mostly for the Shadowrun TTRPG, but also for Earthdawn and Purgatory. He started a successful Shadowrun podcast, and is a founding member of the Shadowcasters Gaming Network. Gathered around him are many like-minded people who are working behind the scenes – for now – to make FUG a success.
