  • A Heroic Wuxia Inspired Roleplay with Tactical Combat

Wandering Blades is a cinematic martial arts roleplaying game where strategic combat and heroic storytelling come together in a world inspired by classic wuxia tales.
Wandering Blades is a roleplaying game of martial arts melodrama for 25 players, where heroes wander the land righting wrongs and battling oppression. Inspired by wuxia cinema, anime, and action games, it features fast-paced, hyper-lethal combat powered by inner qi and driven by strategy over luck. Players choose from three archetypes - knight errant, outlaw, or scholar - each rooted in wuxia tradition. The rules are easy to learn but offer tactical depth, emphasizing momentum and cinematic action. Characters solve problems through attributes rather than skills, reflecting the genre's larger-than-life feel. Streamlined procedures support narrative storytelling and sandbox-style adventures. Wandering Blades empowers players to create heroic, high-drama tales in a world shaped by justice, honor, and deadly martial arts.
