Sovol M1D brings a different approach to multi-color and multi-material 3D printing. Its DualX tool-changing system combines one fixed toolhead with six swappable toolheads, giving different colors and materials their own dedicated heads for faster, more efficient switching. A motor-driven, all-metal locking mechanism swaps toolheads in as little as 5 seconds while keeping them securely positioned, even during high-speed printing. All seven toolheads heat independently, reducing waiting and repeated reheating between changes. By avoiding the repeated purging required by single-nozzle filament-changing systems, DualX enables more material flexibility with near-zero purge waste. With automatic vision calibration, eddy current bed leveling, four flexible print modes, and a six-channel automatic filament system, M1D is built to make complex multi-color and multi-material projects faster, smoother, and easier to manage.
