About

The MarkYin team is distributed across the world. Our members include graduates from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), technology leaders from Google, and university professors and researchers. Since 2017, we have been exploring how artificial intelligence can create long-term value for humanity. In 2024, we began applying AI systematically to cultural and artifact archives. Over the past two years, we expanded our work from 30+ museums to 300+ museums worldwide. MarkYin is the natural continuation of this journey - and our way of inviting everyone to leave their mark in history.

What does it mean to back a project (pledge)?

When you back a project, you are pre-ordering the product. That means you will get it once it's produced. Besides getting the product itself, you're also joining a community. Follow along the production process, take part in important surveys and give the creator valuable feedback.

What is Kickstarter?

Kickstarter is a launchpad for creators to raise funds for the initial production of their invention. Backers (that's you!) can support the creator by pre-ordering the product at a discounted price.
