    About

Catherine Thrush has always been creative. She wrote her first children's fantasy novel, "Quest of the Faes" at the age of 18. It was published while she was still in college. She studied Studio Art and spent over a dozen years as a glass artist. Since then she's gone back to writing, working on her first historical fiction/ action adventure screenplay and book called "Lady Blade," which she plans to debut on Kickstarter along with the prequel, "The Maestro's Daughter." During the week Thomas Thrush is a mild manner IT professional, but on the weekends he unleashes orcs and undead on his unsuspecting wife, Catherine and their friends. Tom has been DM-ing Dungeons and Dragons games since the age of twelve, so his love of fantasy runs deep. Together they launched Urban Realms, a small publisher that sells the RPG romance modules that Catherine and Tom write togther, along with Catherine's art work, fantasy style maps, gaming journals, and RPG supplies. Their many Kickstarters have been successful and the majority of the rewards were distributed within 2 months of the end of the campaign. They are selling their modules, maps, and journals plus some other D&D related items at www.urbanrealms.com.
