Our company TAISHI was founded over 55 years ago, and we manufacture and sell bedding in Kyoto, with a mission to help support better sleep for all. However, as we have faced imports of mass-produced items from overseas, and the demand for domestic goods, we have been faced with the risk of Japanese traditional industries closing their doors. By helping more people learn about and use Japan's traditional industries, as well as the aesthetic sensibilities and ways of thinking unique to Japan, we hope to contribute to the preservation of these traditions and to the improvement of the quality of life.
